Modul-System select Telenor Connexion to connect new global vehicle monitor solution

Modul-System, one of the world’s leading suppliers of equipment for service vehicles has selected Telenor Connexion to connect its new product, Modul-Connect PRO, worldwide.

Modul-System, part of Lifco Group, has 10 subsidiaries located throughout Europe and Asia with its products on sale in 50 countries worldwide.

The Swedish manufacturer required a remote, secure and reliable solution to connect and monitor its Modul-Connect PRO product globally.

Modul-Connect is a ground-breaking electrical system designed specifically for installation in light commercial vehicles. It facilitates installation of electrical accessories such as lights, power sockets, sensors and Modul-System’s overweight protection system. The Modul-Connect APP enables the driver to operate the system using a mobile phone or tablet. The system is completely independent of the vehicle’s electrical system.

The new Modul-Connect PRO system is also equipped with a telematic unit, allowing fleets to be managed remotely via the Modul-Connect PRO web portal or the Modul-Connect PRO APP.

Under the terms of the agreement, Telenor Connexion will provide Modul-System with global managed connectivity and will enable access to over 500 networks across 200+ countries.

This will enable Modul-Connect PRO to seamlessly and securely get access to one specific vehicle or a fleet, no matter where they are located in the world.
